Nanny

Compensation: $20–$25 per hour (standard), $30–$37.50 per hour (overtime).

About the role

We’re looking for caring, engaging individuals to join our babysitter team and provide in-home care for children from toddler through elementary-school age while parents work. Most assignments are Monday–Friday during traditional working hours. Several positions are available in Fall City, ranging from 20–40+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in their own homes—you will never be required to transport them.
• Engage children with age-appropriate activities: play, reading, arts & crafts, and similar.
• Perform common-sense clean-up after activities and meals; no other household duties.
• Communicate clearly with parents and coworkers.
• Work 6–9 hour shifts between 7 am–7 pm, at least two days per week.

Requirements

• Genuine enjoyment of children and a creative, child-focused approach.
• At least one year of day-to-day childcare experience (paid or unpaid).
• Three references: two related to childcare and one character reference.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license to commute to assignments.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds safely and move comfortably between floor and standing throughout the day.
• Quick, calm reactions to routine and emergent situations.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Working conditions

• Active, kid-centric environment with clean-up of activities.
• Part of each day may be spent outdoors for active play, weather permitting.
