Nanny

About the role

Jovie Nannies + Sitters is looking for babysitters to join their team. Positions are available in Fall City, ranging from 20 to 40+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Care for children toddler – elementary school age while their parents work
• Engage, communicate, and be friendly with children and families
• Provide hands-on activities based on children’s age-appropriate development
• Perform common sense clean-up of activities and meals with the child
• Work in families' homes without driving or transporting children

Requirements

• Genuinely enjoy children
• Available at least two days per week to work 6 - 9 hour shifts between 7am - 7pm
• Bring at least 1 year of day-to-day childcare experience
• Can provide 3 references, 2 related to working with children, paid or unpaid, and 1 character reference
• At least 18 years of age or older
• Show reliability by being dependable to families

Qualifications

• Engaging, communicative, and friendly personality
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Previous experience caring for children of various ages (infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary)

Skills

• Ability to lift 35 pounds safely
• Quick reaction to certain situations and emergent circumstances

Pay

Compensation is hourly, with a wage range of $20-25 per hour for regular hours and $30-37.50 per hour for overtime.

Schedule

Shifts are typically Monday through Friday during traditional working hours, with options ranging from 20 to 40+ hours per week.
