About the role

Nakilat is seeking professionals and fresh graduates for various career opportunities in Qatar's maritime, engineering, information technology, and ship operations sectors. Recent vacancies include positions such as Third Officer/Junior Officer, Cargo/Gas Engineer, Second Engineer, Electro Technical Officer (ETO), Fourth Engineer Officer/Junior Engineer, Third Engineer, Fresh Graduate Developee - Mechanical Engineering, and Senior Systems Analyst (Finance).

Responsibilities

• Third Officer/Junior Officer: Keeps an engine room watch or acts as a duty engineer on UMS ships.
• Cargo/Gas Engineer: Maintains cargo handling equipment and associated systems on board the vessel.
• Second Engineer: Supports the Chief Engineer in managerial, technical, and commercial responsibilities.
• E.T.O.: Provides specialist technical support in electrical, electronic, and communication systems on board the vessel.
• Fourth Engineer Officer/Junior Engineer: Responsible for engine room operations, maintenance, watchkeeping, workforce supervision, safety procedures, and the proper functioning of machinery and equipment.
• Third Engineer: Keeps an engine room watch or acts as a duty engineer on UMS vessels, may also act as the Shipboard Safety Officer.
• Fresh Graduate Developee - Mechanical Engineering: Designed for eligible Qatari Nationals with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Senior Systems Analyst (Finance): Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, with specialized certification in SAP FICO or FSCM and 5-7 years of SAP experience.
