Nails Teacher - Substitute

Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective instructional support by delivering lessons aligned with the existing curriculum
• Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on training in nail technology
• Assess student progress and provide feedback where appropriate
• Maintain classroom order and encourage student participation and creativity
• Adhere to all health and safety standards, as well as school policies
• Communicate effectively with staff and administration regarding class progress and issues

Requirements

• Valid Cosmetology License and Nail Technician License in the state of Indiana
• Beauty of Culture Educator License is preferred or must be willing to obtain
• Experience working in the nail industry, demonstrating proficiency in nail care techniques
• Prior teaching or instructing experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively in a substitute teaching role
• Availability to work on short notice as needed

Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
