About the role

Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Nail Technician to join the team in Chicago's Gold Coast. Recognized as one of the Best Hotels in the World and in Chicago with the Top Hotel Spa in the U.S., the AAA-Five-Diamond, Forbes 4-Star Waldorf Astoria Chicago is nestled in the prestigious Gold Coast neighborhood among the famed Oak Street retailers and beach, Rush Street restaurants and nightlife, and The Magnificent Mile. Reminiscent of the grand Parisian hotels of the 1920s, this luxury hotel features 215 rooms, over 5,000 square feet of meeting space and 4 food and beverage outlets. This includes a restaurant, 2 bars, and in-room dining.

Responsibilities

• Delight our guests: Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns to ensure an exceptional spa experience
• Deliver professional nail services: Perform manicures, pedicures, polish applications, acrylics, paraffin treatments, and other nail services according to spa menu, guest preferences, and established quality and health standards
• Maintain a spotless environment: Ensure workstations, tools, and equipment are consistently clean and sanitized in compliance with regulatory and guest service standards
• Manage supplies and inventory: Monitor inventory of nail care products and tools, ensuring adequate stock and proper storage
• Stay current on industry trends: Maintain up to date knowledge of nail care techniques, tools, and products to enhance service quality and guest satisfaction
• Support daily spa operations: Assist with general spa duties as needed to ensure seamless service
• Maintain required documentation: Accurately complete any required records related to services, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
