Nail Technician- Part-Time - ($11/hour + service charges & commissions)

About the role

The Nail Technician is responsible for providing exceptional nail services, including manicures, pedicures and nail enhancements, while delivering outstanding guest experiences. This role supports the resort and spa’s high standards of cleanliness, professionalism and hospitality. Bonus if you’re passionate about nail art!

Responsibilities

• Give meticulous manicures, pedicures, artificial nail applications and hand/foot treatments.
• Consult with guests to ensure expectations are met for a pleasurable visit, which may include a site tour.
• Prepare nail care equipment, sanitize instruments, treatment areas and supplies daily, and complete all tasks necessary for opening and closing shifts.
• Maintain on-time attendance and uninterrupted work.
• Sit for long periods of time and lift up to 15 pounds.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the salon area and the rest of the Spa as needed.
• Keep consistent stock of supplies throughout the entire Spa.
• Attend product knowledge training as required.
• Stay current with changing trends and developments in the department.
• Respond to any special projects requested by the Spa Director, Spa Manager or Assistant Spa Manager.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current license as a nail technician or cosmetologist as required by the State.
• Self-motivated and confident working independently or with team members.
• At least one year of professional nail care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to sanitation and safety.
• Team player with a professional, polished appearance.
