Nail Technician
Essential Functions
- Perform pet nail trims, ear cleanings, tooth brushing, and gland expressions
- Safely handle pets, recognizing stress signals and behavioral cues
- Provide high-quality customer service to pet owners
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all company policies and procedures consistently
- Monitor pet behavior to prevent injury to pets or self
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding services and pet needs
- Manage time effectively and complete scheduled appointments
- Drive to client locations while maintaining a valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Supervisory Responsibility

Work Environment
This position operates in a mobile and customer-facing environment. Work is performed at client locations and may involve indoor and outdoor settings. The role uses tools and equipment necessary for pet grooming services and requires adherence to safety standards while working with animals.
Physical Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, and reaching
- Sustained physical activity, including handling animals that may be stressed or unpredictable
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position may be full-time or part-time, depending on business needs. Hours will vary and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role operates on a seven-day schedule, and weekend availability is required. Overtime may be required based on workload and scheduling demands. Management reserves the right to adjust schedules as needed. Time off is not permitted during the two weeks preceding Thanksgiving and Christmas due to business demand.

No travel is required.

Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in grooming, bathing, pet services, or veterinary technician services
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities
Preferred Education & Experience
- Experience in mobile grooming or pet service environments
- Strong customer-facing experience
- Professional experience handling animals
