Nail Technician

About the role

This is a full-time, onsite position at Sola Salons - Big Apple Art in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The studio focuses on clean, high-quality work and nail health, specializing in builder gel, structured manicures, Gel-X, and detailed nail art.

Responsibilities

• Experience with Russian / dry manicure techniques (e-file required)
• Strong builder gel (structured manicure / BIAB) skills
• Clean cuticle work without damage
• Gel-X / soft gel extensions (preferred)
• Nail art is a plus
• NY State Nail Technician License required, must be able to perform pedicures
• Work in a private studio setting with appointment-based bookings
• Back-to-back bookings (must be efficient and consistent)
• Work with clients who value quality and retention

• Compensation: $18–$25/hour (based on experience)
• Tips and bonus / commission opportunities
• Steady clientele provided
• Sunday availability required
• Flexible weekday shifts
• Full-time or part-time

Qualifications

• NY State Nail Technician License required
