About the role
The Department of Natural History seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team. This position will contribute to various research projects and collections management efforts.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain biological and geological specimens in the department's collections.
- Contribute to research projects, assisting with specimen preparation, data collection, and analysis.
- Collaborate with other departments and external partners on interdisciplinary projects.
- Develop and implement new methods for specimen preservation and storage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Geology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in collections management or related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with database management systems is preferred.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of biodiversity and geology principles.
- Experience with specimen handling and preservation techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills

$50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
