Qualifications
Possess one (1) of the following:
- Completed two years of college credit (60 credits total); or
- Hold an associate's (or higher) degree; or
- Passed the ParaPro/ParaPathways Assessment
AND possess one (1) of the following:
- A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent; or
- 12 college credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, and/or early childhood special education.
Additional Qualifications
- Ability to work with children with multiple needs
- Capacity to implement lessons written by the Special Education Teacher
- Ability to work cooperatively with Administration, Regular Education Teachers, other assigned Staff, and Parents
- Flexible, dependable, and responsive to new ideas and direction

Pay
$17.94 per hour – Wages in accordance with the CBA for the Groton Paraeducators Chapter CSEA/SEIU Local 2001
