Mystique - Restaurant Server

About the Role

A typical day as a Restaurant Server includes:

• Greeting guests with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor
• Attending to guests and taking food and/or beverage orders
• Ensuring guests' orders are accurate and served in a timely manner
• Anticipating guest needs and fulfilling them
• Preparing guest checks and collecting accurate payment
• Resolving any service issues with empathy and according to guidelines
• Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to company guidelines
• Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner
• Maintaining a clean and well-stocked work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant serving experience in a high-volume, upscale food and beverage and/or club environment (fine dining experience preferred)
• Experience with Asian cuisine is a plus
• TIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification is required
• Must pass Big Night Entertainment Group's legal background check requirements
• Neat and professional appearance
• Ability to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public, and co-workers
• Demonstrated teamwork with other staff members
• Ability to accurately count money and provide necessary change
• Ability to build guest loyalty with an outgoing and friendly demeanor
• Excellent memory and ability to multitask

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• May be required to lift or move up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques
• Must withstand long hours on your feet in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Non-typical hours will be customary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
