About the role

A typical day as a Restaurant Host might include greeting guests with a welcoming smile and providing them with fast, friendly service, assigning and escorting guests to their tables, managing reservations and waitlists, and promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner.

As a Restaurant Host, you will work well with others, including hosts, servers, bartenders, support staff, and management, and remember guest’s names to utilize them when appropriate to build guest loyalty and maintain a clean and stocked work area.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests with a welcoming smile and providing them with fast, friendly service
• Assigning and escorting guests to their tables
• Managing reservations and waitlists, offering estimated wait times
• Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner
• Working well with others, including hosts, servers, bartenders, support staff, and management
• Remembering guest’s names and utilizing them when appropriate to build guest loyalty
• Maintaining a clean and stocked work area
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 1 year previous hosting experience in a fast-paced bar/restaurant
• A neat and professional appearance
• Ability to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public, and co-workers
• Must be able to pass Big Night Entertainment Group's requirements in regards to legal background check
• Ability to demonstrate teamwork with other staff members
• Must have a friendly and welcoming demeanor, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills
