Mystery Shopper (Temporary)

About the Role

Opus Inspection, Inc. is a software and electronic hardware-driven global leader in the Automotive Technology Service industry. Our mission is to make the world a cleaner and safer place by providing highly effective solutions for Vehicle Inspection through innovative technologies, customer focus, and operational excellence. This temporary position (expected duration of 4-6 weeks) involves conducting audits at emission testing stations throughout Rhode Island as a Mystery Shopper/Covert Auditor.

Responsibilities

• Call and schedule appointments for state inspections
• Pick up the assigned vehicle and cash from the office each day
• Meet with the designated DMV agent prior to each audit
• Drive to the targeted inspection station, request a state inspection, and observe the full inspection process, including payment
• Reconvene with the DMV agent after the inspection to document findings and complete the audit record (handwritten)
• Proceed to the next inspection station
• Make additional appointments in between audits if necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager
