Requirements

• Must have NYS Certification as a School Psychologist
• Must meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirements
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Familiar with IDEA and 504 regulations.
• Extensive knowledge of assessment types and measures required
• Knowledge of Tier 1 SEL supports and strategies
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Familiar and skilled in conducting evaluations, skilled communicator
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Knowledge of school organization, goals and objectives, curriculum, teaching techniques, current trends, research, and materials of instruction in field of specialization
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, administrators, colleagues, community, and other school system staff
• Other responsibilities, as assigned, based on the needs of the school and its scholars
