MWR Bartender

Responsibilities

• Mix beverages by combining and proportioning pre-mixed packages or a limited number of ingredients such as liquors, soda, water, beer and wine in accordance with standard recipes and serve to patrons.
• Receive orders from patrons, compute charges, collect appropriate amounts from patrons and/or waiters and make change in accordance with established cash handling procedures; responsible for own change fund.
• Prepare daily activity reports and ensure funds are either properly secured and/or deposited in accordance with cash handling instructions.
• Ensure adequate stock levels, arrange and display bottled goods and glasses about the bar.
• Replenish stock and notify supervisor when supplies and stock are low.
• Ensure that supplies and equipment are economically used and waste is kept to a minimum.
• May be required to take inventories and ensure prices are accurate.
• May be required to calibrate the bar as required.
• Wash, clean and dry bar glasses, utensils and equipment.
• Ensure working area is maintained according to appropriate sanitation and safety standards to include, but not limited to sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning sinks, walls, cabinets etc.
• Comply with all safety, fire and sanitation rules and regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
