About the role

Mono-Woodbury Central School District seeks part-time School Monitors to assist with lunch supervision at Sapphire Elementary. This position is designed to support the school's mission of promoting confidence, inspiring a passion for learning, and preparing students to be responsible global citizens.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunchtime
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
• Support teachers and staff in maintaining classroom order
• Assist with classroom management and student behavior

Requirements

• Must meet civil service requirements
• Must meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $12.50 per hour.

Schedule

Shifts are from 11:10 AM - 1:10 PM, Monday through Friday.
