Requirements

• Must meet civil service requirements
• Must meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirements
• Six (6) months of experience assisting in the preparation or service of food on a large scale
• Knowledge of large-scale food preparation and serving methods
• Knowledge of modern cleaning methods, use of cleaning supplies and appliances
• Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, ovens, steam tables
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position

Schedule

8:00 AM – 12:30 PM (4.5 hours per day)
