MWD Field Technician RM

Essential Job Functions

• Adheres to all corporate safety directives to promote a safe working environment, including participating in safety talks and wearing required PPE.
• Cleans up and conducts safety audit of well site and rig conditions upon arrival on site, and provides training to other MWD personnel on site hazards.
• Operates directional only and full service gamma jobs unassisted.
• Manages, trains, and develops any MWD personnel at the well site.
• Generates and delivers MWD logs.
• Participates in knowledge sharing.
• Maintains personal development and stays informed on the latest technology and strategies.
• Prepares End-of-Well reports and final client data delivery.
• Conducts post-job debriefings.

Minimum Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Computer literate; competent in Windows XP or equivalent and MS Office.
• Good writing skills and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work for extended periods away from domicile and family at all hours of the day or night, as required.
• Able to travel extended distances and to all areas of the U.S.
• On call status – 24/7.
• Passes pre-employment background check.
• Passes pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and/or post-accident drug screens.
• Completes training requirements and passes MWD Operator 1 and Basic Rig Knowledge Exams.
