MVPT Physical Therapy - Medical Receptionist

MVPT Physical Therapy, a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy in the Northeast, is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This will start as a temporary role and could become permanent. 40 hours per week. In this role, you will be the front office point person, handling scheduling and day-to-day workflow. You will oversee the check-in/out process, ensuring it’s fast, friendly, and accurate, and you will act as the go-to for insurance verifications, authorizations, and co-pay collections. What You'll Do Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer serviceAnswer phones and assist with scheduling appointmentsVerify insurance benefits and explain patient financial responsibilitiesManage patient intake forms and maintain accurate recordsCoordinate referrals, authorizations, and insurance approvalsSupport clinic operations and maintain efficient schedulesAssist with billing, payments, and administrative tasks What We're Looking For Experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or front desk role requiredKnowledge of insurance verification and patient financial responsibilities preferredStrong communication and customer service skillsExcellent organization and attention to detailAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us?
