King Open School is dedicated to fostering every student’s ability to monitor their own learning, recognize the role of effort, and succeed both independently and collaboratively. Through differentiated instruction and academic rigor, we provide a well-rounded education that develops critical thinking, collaboration, and a strong work ethic. Family engagement is central to our mission, ensuring all caregivers are deeply connected to their child’s learning and school community.

We cultivate a positive, inclusive environment where diversity is respected, and cultural identities are valued. Our curriculum (CKLA, Illustrative Math, etc.) is designed to help students acquire, refine, and meaningfully apply knowledge, preparing them to explore and navigate an ever-changing world. Data-driven instruction and analysis of student work guide our efforts to close learning gaps and elevate achievement.
