About the role

The Niagara Falls City School District is seeking dynamic, collaborative, flexible, and engaging Music Teachers for the 2026/2027 academic year. Positions are open for both new and experienced educators.

Responsibilities

• Teach music to students at all grade levels
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies
• Utilize technology effectively in music instruction
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements

• New York State Certification required
• Experience in other public schools may be considered for credit towards certification
• Integration of technology at all grade levels

Qualifications

• Strong background in music education
• Ability to work collaboratively with peers and students
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

Salary range: $53,796.00 - $77,126.00

Schedule

All probationary appointments are subject to a residency requirement.
