Pay Rate: $16.00/hr - $17.00/hr Non-Teaching Rate and up to $26.80/hr Total Teaching Rate depending on background and experience. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum
• Increase student count and ensure each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs
• Assist with Customer service as needed to build and maintain long-term students by creating a great experience
• Partner with students and families through frequent communication to build trusting relationships
• Communicate student progress and goals with students and/or parents
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field
• Ability to teach an instrument you are proficient in, such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching
• Embody a Customer First mindset and provide excellent Customer experience
