Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons using the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum
• Work to increase student count and ensure each student grows and enjoys playing music
• Nurture our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect
• Partner with store Lessons Leads to schedule and retain student headcount
• Communicate with students and/or parents on progress and goals
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with students and families through frequent communication and trust-building
• Provide an excellent customer experience as part of the team

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field
• Ability to teach the instrument you are proficient in, such as drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction
