$11.00/hr – $14.50/hr non-teaching rate; up to $22.30/hr total teaching rate depending on background and experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons using the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs
• Assist with customer service to build and maintain long-term students through great experiences
• Communicate frequently with students and families to build trusting relationships
• Share student progress and goals with students and/or parents regularly
• Embrace a Customer First mindset to provide excellent customer experience

Requirements

• Previous experience in music, education, or related field
• Ability to teach the instrument of proficiency (e.g., drums, guitar, keyboard)
• Demonstrated competency and proficiency in the teaching area
