Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum
• Work to increase student count and ensure each student grows, develops, and enjoys playing music
• Nurture the culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect within the store
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs
• Aid in customer service by helping to build and maintain long-term student relationships
• Communicate regularly with students and parents about their progress and goals
• Support the overall store culture and excellence by collaborating with store staff

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field
• Ability to teach the instrument you are proficient in, such as drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.
• Skilled in demonstrating competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching
