Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
• Work to increase student count ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music while nurturing a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Assist with customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long‑term students by creating a great experience.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Partner with all students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships, and embracing the knowledge parents have as their child's music teacher.
• Communicate with students and/or parents on progress of each student.
• Share students’ and/or parents’ goals and progress frequently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument that they are proficient in (e.g., Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.).
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching.

Pay

Pay Rate: $15.16/hr - $19.29/hr Non‑Teaching Rate and up to $27.33/hr Total
