Music Teacher - Infant/Toddler and Preschool

Daily Responsibilities

• Developing music lesson plans in accordance with our monthly themes and developmentally appropriate activities.
• Maintaining a supportive environment that meets the individual needs of the children/class.
• Interacting with children to foster music through play, exploration, and learning.
• Presenting clear expectations that are age-appropriate and developmentally sound.
• Planning and executing music activities designed to enhance self-esteem and social skills.
• Communicating effectively with parents and fellow staff members.
• Collaborating with colleagues to build a cohesive team dynamic.
• Utilizing assessment tools to monitor and evaluate the progress of the children.

Requirements

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or Music or a related field (Associates or BA preferred).
• At least one year of music teaching experience in a licensed center or early childhood enrichment center.
• Proven knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
