Daily Responsibilities
- Developing music lesson plans in accordance with our monthly themes and developmentally appropriate activities.
- Maintaining a supportive environment that meets the individual needs of the children/class.
- Interacting with children to foster music through play, exploration, and learning.
- Presenting clear expectations that are age-appropriate and developmentally sound.
- Planning and executing music activities designed to enhance self-esteem and social skills.
- Communicating effectively with parents and fellow staff members.
- Collaborating with colleagues to build a cohesive team dynamic.
- Utilizing assessment tools to monitor and evaluate the progress of the children.
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or Music or a related field (Associates or BA preferred).
- At least one year of music teaching experience in a licensed center or early childhood enrichment center.
- Proven knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
