About the Role

Teach in a truly personalized way — one student at a time. Specific grade levels served may vary by campus and will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

  • Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs.
  • Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
  • Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture.
  • Keep student records accurate and organized.
  • Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees, music certifications, or a teaching credential is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of music courses (recording arts, music appreciation, music theory, bass, drums, guitar, keyboard, piano, songwriting, & vocals), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
  • Experience with the tools and techniques associated with contemporary recording and music production: microphones, digital audio, audio editing, MIDI and virtual instruments, audio effects & processors, synthesis, sampling, and mixing.
  • Proficiency with at least two of the three industry standard DAWs — ProTools, Logic, & Ableton Live.
  • Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
  • Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
  • Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
  • Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.

Pay

USD $28.75 - USD $28.75 /Hr.

Employment is contingent upon authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
