Music Teacher
Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is a pre-K through 8th grade Catholic elementary school in Madison, Wisconsin with 290 students and 27 staff members. We are seeking a talented, creative, and hard-working individual interested in becoming part of a team that is passionate about working together to develop students spiritually and academically, as we strive for excellence together.
Responsibilities
- Children's Choir rehearsals and lead choir for school Masses
- Coordinate and lead School Christmas Program or other musical programs that showcase student learning
Requirements
- A valid teaching credential along with a minimum of two years teaching experience is highly preferable
- Knowledge of current curriculum and standards
- Enthusiasm for music education
- Commitment to continued development of his/her personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Desire to help students nurture and grow their relationship with Jesus Christ through the beauty of music and singing
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents
- Values the learning process and teaching essential music skills

Salary range: $37,000 to $45,000

About the employer: Blessed Sacrament Parish/School is located in the Diocese of Madison, Wisconsin. We are staffed by the Schoenstatt Fathers since 2024, and previously were staffed by Dominican Friars for 102 years.
