About the role
The Studio Coordinator supports daily operations, handles scheduling, provides customer service, ensures safety, promotes the music program, and assists with administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Support daily operations, including opening and closing the school, monitoring attendance and punctuality, and ensuring a clean, professional school environment
- Handle complex scheduling and manage phone and email communication using various software platforms
- Create a positive, inclusive environment by delivering top-quality customer service
- Ensure a safe experience for students by overseeing adherence to the School of RockSOR Code of Conduct and safety policies
- Pitch the music program to prospective families, lead school tours, and enroll new students
- Assist in marketing by promoting events and maintaining social media presence
- Provide support to the General Manager by assisting with special projects and handling administrative responsibilities
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Front Desk, Reception, or Customer Service roles
- Excellent customer service and relationship skills
- Experience and interest in working with children, teenagers, and parents/guardians
- Skilled at juggling multiple projects, setting priorities, being a self-starter, and problem-solving
- Adaptable and flexible under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good team player who collaborates
- Possesses a polished demeanor and conducts themselves with professionalism and integrity
Qualifications
- Knowledge of music and/or the music industry is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Experience in schools, summer camps, kids programs, etc. is highly preferred
