Music Linguist - Fully Remote | Upto $70/hr

Role Responsibilities

• Transcribe melodies by ear with accurate pitch and rhythm.
• Recognize key, tempo, and time signature.
• Handle sung lyrics with strong fluency, including accents and less-clear delivery.
• Work independently to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the AI research team to improve model outputs.
• Adapt to flexible hours as the project expands.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: Formal musical training or professional experience.
• Mandatory: Degree in music or equivalent experience as a musician, composer, transcriber, engineer, or teacher.
• Mandatory: Strong ear for music and ability to transcribe accurately.
• Mandatory: Fluency in handling sung lyrics in various languages.
