Music Instructor - Vocals

About the role

The School of Rock part time Instructor teaches students from AC/DC to Zappa. The role creates a safe and cool environment for students to achieve their musical and creative potential and ensures that each School of Rock student has an exceptional musical journey.

Responsibilities

• Create a dynamic lesson experience to ensure students are challenged and inspired.
• Embody rock and roll in a positive way.
• Teach students in five core areas: keys, vocals, guitar, bass, and drums.
• Engage with students in a supportive and encouraging manner.
• Ensure all music and education-related elements within the lessons are covered.
• Support the creation of a safe and cool environment for students.

Requirements

• Experience teaching music, particularly vocals.
• Ability to engage and inspire students.
• Knowledge of rock music and ability to incorporate it into lessons.
• Positive attitude and ability to embody rock and roll.
• Ability to teach multiple instruments if applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for music and teaching.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
