Music Fundamentals Recreation Activities Volunteer June 1st – 5th

Who We Are Looking For

You are passionate about music and enjoy sharing it with beginners. You can make learning fun, interactive, and accessible regardless of prior experience.

What Will You Be Doing

• Introduce basic musical concepts (rhythm, melody, simple instruments)
• Lead interactive activities such as rhythm exercises or group music-making
• Encourage participation and creativity
• Adapt activities for varying skill levels
• Support a collaborative, engaging environment

Why is this job needed/important

Music fosters creativity, emotional expression, and connection. This role helps youth explore new interests in a supportive setting.

Where

Idaho Youth Ranch Residential Center for Healing & Resilience (Caldwell)

Availability

One 2-hour session between the hours of 9:00am – 12:00pm MST; 1:00pm – 5:00pm MST (June 1–5; morning or afternoon)
