About the Role
The Music Coordinator will support the Fox Entertainment Music team with project management, communication, and research, ensuring efficient handling of tight deadlines and turnarounds. Regular on-site attendance (minimum four days per week) is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist the EVP and VP of Music across all departmental functions.
- Serve as the music production point person for music-intensive network projects, coordinating between business affairs, legal, production, and marketing teams to ensure legal compliance for initiatives and activations.
- Facilitate and archive music licenses, songwriter agreements, producer agreements, and composer agreements; oversee invoicing.
- Create, update, and manage reference charts for productions, including key music dates, production timelines, and budgetary overviews.
- Track payments for all TV music licenses in collaboration with music supervisors and clearance teams.
- Oversee and manage audio assets and deliverables, facilitating agreements for score and original songs for registration and archival purposes.
- Supervise promo and programming cue sheets for FOX and Tubi from ingest to QC to reporting.
- Organize and maintain license tracking information and promo flight dates.
- Manage the FOX-owned original music library via SourceAudio, tagging tracks and curating audio assets.
- Develop data for music budgeting and records tracking.
- Create presentations and documents using PowerPoint and Keynote.
- Assist with departmental projects and events as needed.
Requirements
- Basic math skills for budgeting and negotiations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (Mac preferred), and music cataloging software such as iTunes, DISCO, and SourceAudio.
- Knowledge of music licensing/supervision, television production/marketing, music theory, and the recording process.
- Previous experience in an entertainment agency, record label, publisher, or production environment.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Strong prioritization skills and adaptability to changing business needs.
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and multitasking abilities.
- Capacity to organize administrative procedures independently, draft correspondence/reports, and work under pressure.
- Discretion in handling confidential information and interacting with high-level executives.

Pay
The pay rate for this role ranges from $19.00 to $30.00 per hour, with the final offer dependent on education, skills, experience, and location.
