Music Coordinator

About the role

St. Ann Catholic Church is seeking a part-time Music Coordinator (12-15 hours per week) to facilitate and plan music for all liturgies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and plan music for all liturgies.
• Assist with vocal training for cantors.
• Work in cooperation with and under the direction of the pastor.
• Play the piano with proficiency.
• Coordinate cantors, musicians, and choirs.
• Help coordinate holy days, weddings, funerals, and other accompaniment for special occasions.

Requirements

• A degree in music is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in playing the piano.
• Show strong knowledge and appreciation of Catholic Liturgy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of liturgical music experience.

Skills

• Proficiency in playing the piano.
• Strong knowledge of liturgical music in various styles.
• Leadership skills to assist with vocal training for cantors.
• Ability to work in cooperation with and under the direction of the pastor.
