About the role

Duke Radiology invites applications to join our Musculoskeletal Imaging team, one of the largest divisions within our nationally recognized Radiology Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional clinical service and teaching. We offer a wide variety of clinical cases and ample opportunities for research and mentorship. The Duke Radiology Musculoskeletal Imaging team is dedicated to delivering excellence through innovation, research, and exceptional patient care.

Opportunities

  • Range of high-impact services including imaging of sports-related injuries, musculoskeletal diagnostic ultrasound and intervention, and bone and soft tissue biopsies, all performed in Duke Hospital to facilitate collaboration both within the team and with other specialties.
  • Collaborate with orthopaedics, oncology, and pathology working groups.
  • Work closely with Duke orthopaedic surgery, oncology, rheumatology, and infectious disease specialists.
  • Faculty appointment with the Duke School of Medicine at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level.

Qualifications

  • Board certification in radiology and fellowship-trained in Musculoskeletal Imaging.
  • Commitment to clinical service and teaching radiology residents and musculoskeletal imaging fellows (52 residents and 6 musculoskeletal imaging fellows per year).
  • Demonstrated scholarly activity and interest in academic medicine.
