Municipal Project Engineer

This position is available in our Nashville, Murfreesboro (TN), or Huntsville, AL locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of civil site, roadway, and/or general municipal engineering projects.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams as needed.
• Interact with public officials and review land development proposals.
• Present to local city councils and other stakeholders.
• Grow and expand civil engineering design knowledge and experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• PASSED FE Exam.
• 3+ years of experience with Municipal (City) Engineering design, including civil-site design, roadway, and sidewalk design, drainage design, water/wastewater design, or structural design.
• Proficiency in Microstation GEOPAK or OpenRoads.
• Strong verbal communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in municipal engineering design.
• Experience with Microstation GEOPAK or OpenRoads.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
