Responsibilities
- Drafting ordinances and resolutions
- Dealing with open meeting laws
- Land use and planning
- Conflicts of interest
- Free speech regulations
- Public safety issues
- Election law matters
- Other issues surrounding public agency clients
Requirements
- Licensed in California
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least 1-3 years of experience practicing municipal law, including but not limited to the areas listed above.
Skills
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, research, and writing skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a reasonable expected pay scale of $120,000 - $185,000 for an associate with 1 or more years of experience. The actual salary will depend on the candidate’s years of practice and experience.
