About the role

As a Municipal Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of municipal infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, water systems, and waste management facilities.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing plans for municipal infrastructure projects
• Collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure project compliance with local regulations and standards
• Overseeing the construction process to ensure quality and adherence to timelines
• Managing budgets and resources effectively
• Providing technical guidance and support to project teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in municipal engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Strong knowledge of municipal engineering principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar
• Knowledge of construction materials and techniques
• Understanding of environmental impact assessment processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
