About the role
The Municipal Engineer is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of municipal infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of municipal infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors
- Ensure safety standards are met during all phases of the project
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of municipal engineering principles and practices
- Experience with project management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
