About the Role

This position is within the Municipal Bond Team, a key part of DWS Americas' investment division. The team covers a wide range of products, including open-end mutual funds, institutional, and retail separately managed accounts. The successful candidate will join the municipal credit analyst team based in Boston.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and assign internal credit ratings to investment-grade general obligation and higher-quality revenue bond sectors.
  • Formulate high-conviction investment recommendations based on relative value, factoring in various account risk tolerances.
  • Surveil credit trends for the coverage universe.
  • Develop new ways to make the analyst coverage process more efficient.
  • Lead efforts to maintain data integrity within various portfolio management and trading systems.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience with municipal credit analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Highly proficient with Excel; experience with Perform/CreditScope is a plus.
  • Strong sense of integrity and fiduciary responsibility; client-focused and a strong team player.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows, and solve business problems while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Pay

The salary range for this position in Boston is $106,000 to $193,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience, education, work location, and other qualifications. The posted range does not include incentive compensation or other forms of remuneration.

Schedule

DWS operates under a hybrid working model, balancing in-person collaboration and remote work. The specific split between office and home time will vary by business group and will be discussed during the application and interview process.
