Multispecialty Surgical Physician Assistant

About the role

Stamford Health is seeking an experienced Surgical Physician Assistant to join our team in the Surgical Subspecialties at Stamford Hospital. This full-time position involves clinical work and OR First Assist, assisting in the evaluation and treatment of patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including chronic diseases, acute illnesses, and health care maintenance. Under physician direction or consultation, the PA will provide a broad spectrum of general patient care.

The patient population consists of approximately 95% Urology and Neurosurgery, with occasional Oral and Maxillofacial and ENT patients.

Schedule

• Full-time, 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
• Day/night/weekend rotation
• 24/7 in-house surgical team coverage
• Self-scheduling model
