Responsibilities

• Promote Equity Residential's brand
• Manage the sales process, from start to finish
• Build rapport with prospects and residents
• Provide a high level of customer service to support resident retention
• Proactively manage leads and customer experience using the CRM
• Inspect the community ready product and tour path daily
• Employ effective selling techniques to close the sale
• Cross-sell, both within assigned communities and other sister communities
• Maintain accurate and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the community
• Support the community's marketing efforts
• Monitor community trends to prepare for future occupancy needs
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Leasing Consultants
• Communicate effectively with the service and office team, as well as residents
• Maintain market and community knowledge
• Coordinate and support resident events as directed throughout the year
• Accurately and efficiently prepare and assist with all leasing documents
• Verify all scheduled move-in files are complete
• Complete all required training in a timely manner
• Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times

Requirements

• Sales and Customer Service experience is preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation (if operating a motorized vehicle)
• Computer literacy and effective communication skills
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
• Ability to use the computer effectively and read written communications
• Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 15 pounds
