Responsibilities
- Promote Equity Residential's brand
- Manage the sales process, from start to finish
- Build rapport with prospects and residents
- Provide a high level of customer service to support resident retention
- Proactively manage leads and customer experience using the CRM
- Inspect the community ready product and tour path daily
- Employ effective selling techniques to close the sale
- Cross-sell, both within assigned communities and other sister communities
- Maintain accurate and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the community
- Support the community's marketing efforts
- Monitor community trends to prepare for future occupancy needs
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Leasing Consultants
- Communicate effectively with the service and office team, as well as residents
- Maintain market and community knowledge
- Coordinate and support resident events as directed throughout the year
- Accurately and efficiently prepare and assist with all leasing documents
- Verify all scheduled move-in files are complete
- Complete all required training in a timely manner
- Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times
Requirements
- Sales and Customer Service experience is preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation (if operating a motorized vehicle)
- Computer literacy and effective communication skills
- Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Ability to use the computer effectively and read written communications
- Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 15 pounds
