Multiple Subject Teacher - 5th Grade - Turner Elementary

The Antioch Unified School District (AUSD) is seeking candidates for a multiple subject teaching credential position in General Subjects (BCLAD).

About the role

AUSD is dedicated to providing quality education and fostering a diverse learning environment. This position requires a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential - General Subjects (BCLAD) and a Credential Copy English Learner Authorization.

Responsibilities

• Teach multiple subjects to students in grades K-8
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials
• Mentor and support English Learners
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to enhance student learning
• Participate in professional development activities

Requirements

• Valid Multiple Subject Teaching Credential - General Subjects (BCLAD)
• Credential Copy English Learner Authorization
• Three letters of recommendation from educators dated within the last year
• A current resume

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience working with English Learners
• Knowledge of bilingual education strategies
• Strong communication skills
