Responsibilities
- Teach multiple subjects to students in grades K-8
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with district curriculum standards
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve academic performance
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance teaching practices
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with educational trends and best practices
Requirements
- Valid Multiple Subject Teaching Credential - General Subjects (BCLAD)
- Credential Copy English Learner Authorization
- Three letters of recommendation from educators dated within the last year
- Current resume
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience working with English Learners
- Knowledge of Second Language Acquisition (SLA) principles
- Experience with differentiated instruction
