About the Role
The Radiologic Technologist assists with cardiovascular procedures, including imaging and interventional therapies, supporting radiologists and PAs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and review medical histories
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment
- Administer contrast media and medications
- Monitor patient activity during procedures
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance
- Maintain equipment and department standards
- Adhere to safety procedures in a clean, safe environment
Requirements
- Completion of a Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program
- No prior experience required
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving patients, and operating equipment
- Constant alertness and adherence to safety protocols
Schedule
Evening shift, 36 hours weekly, with on-call duties approximately every 4-5 weeks.
