Position Descriptions: These General Engineering positions serve as critical project engineers in support of the Materiel Leader/Branch Chief. These positions are highly visible roles responsible for the comprehensive technical management, execution, and analysis of the program technical baseline. The ideal candidate will ensure that technical requirements meet operational capabilities and the PAE's overarching mission. Five positions available: NCN Global Aircrew Strategic Network Terminal (GASNTi2b2), NCW Modeling, Analysis, Configuration Management (MAC), NCS Force Element Terminal (FET), IMT Knowledge, Skills, and ExperiencePossess the knowledge, experience, and demonstrated ability to perform tasks related to the duties and responsibilities cited above.Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts in written and oral presentationsAbility to work independently and apply the proper procedures and processes related to general engineering activities.Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established program/project guidelines (Program Office and Staff Level Support interface).Familiarity with RF communications preferredExperience with the USAF nuclear enterprise, to include NC3 and AFGSC preferred2-7+ yrs Engineering, technical management, program support preferredExperience applying engineering principles, concepts, standards, and methods to extend or modify existing or evolving approaches to technologies that support operations and working with engineering team members, resolve unique or novel problems, conditions, or issues; or significantly alter standard practices, equipment, devices, processes, and known techniques Key Program Responsibilities:Engineering Management: Oversee program engineering and technical activitiesDigital Engineering/Acq: Execute programs utilizing digital engineering/acqAcquisition Planning: Shape multi-year acquisition strategies and contracts at the program level.Mission Alignment: Align program execution with PAE strategic objectivesProcess Improvement: Enhance contracts, systems, and internal processes.
