Warwick School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Multiple Disabilities Support Teacher, effective the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.

About the role

This position requires previous experience in special education, though it is not mandatory. A Pennsylvania Special Education certification is required. Applicants must also pass a medical examination, tuberculin test, federal and state criminal record checks, and child abuse history clearance before employment.

Responsibilities

  • Support students with multiple disabilities in academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide direct instruction and assistive technology support to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

  • Pennsylvania Special Education certification.
  • Previous experience in special education (though not required).
  • Pass a medical examination, tuberculin test, federal and state criminal record checks, and child abuse history clearance.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
