About the role
Accurately position patients, select parameters, and implement radiation safety. Prepare for, perform, and assist physicians with special procedures. Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS (with correct markers and patient data). Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department environment.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date, Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Qualifications

Skills
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
- Ability to prepare and administer contrast media and medications.
