About the role
The Radiology Department at Porter Medical Center performs 25,000 imaging exams annually using state-of-the-art equipment including a Philips 64-slice CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound, and Hologic 3D for mammography. Services are available 24/7, with additional coverage for ultrasound and MRI on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine, trauma, intraoperative, and radiological imaging
- Provide excellent customer service
- Cross train into other modalities as needed
- Obtain and maintain certification in relevant modalities
- Work shifts that vary based on department needs
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of a formal radiological technology program in a CAHEA approved school
- Certification by the ARRT or its equivalent
- Vermont unrestricted State license to practice radiologic technology
- Maintain professional growth and development in the Radiology Tech field
- CT or mammography certification required
Qualifications
- Current Vermont unrestricted State license to practice radiologic technology
- Maintain certification in Tech’s special modality
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to cross train into other modalities
- Competence in relevant modalities

- Differentials: Evening $3/hour, Night $5/hour, Weekend $2/hour (in addition to any applicable evening or night differentials)
- Per Diem $2/hour (in addition to any applicable evening, night, and weekend differentials)
